For safe removal and reinstallation, we recommend having the process handled by a trained stylist and using new beads when reinstalling the weft.

Yes. Like other hair extensions, Butterfly Weft can cause hair breakage or contribute to traction alopecia (hair loss caused by repeated pulling), especially when the extensions are too tight, too heavy, or worn under prolonged tension.

However, hair loss is not inevitable. Choosing a suitable extension method, having it professionally installed and removed, avoiding excessive tension, maintaining good scalp and hair care, and taking regular breaks from extensions can help reduce the risk of damage.
